One of the most devastating eruptions in the world is the eruption of Mount Tambora in 1815. Eruptions were able to make some parts of the world covered by thick smoke. This is the story that tempts the traveler to climb.
In addition to Mount Krakatau, Mount Tambora had massive eruption in recorded world history. Eruption which took tens of thousands of casualties and the smoke is believed to reach America and Europe. Not a world traveler came there to see the apparition of Mount Tambora.

Zainul added tracks to tourists climbing Mount Tambora is not difficult. The high is only in the range of 2,000 meters above sea level within easy reach for novice climbers.
"Mount Tambora is not difficult to climb and allow for people who are not adept at climbing," said Zainul.
From Dompu site info, there are three paths ascent of Mount Tambora, the Tambora village hamlet Pancasila, the path to be in the Village Doropeti two and three paths to be in savannah village of Doro Ncanga Sorotatanga. All located in Dompu.
"The infrastructure is very good, from Dompu towards Tambora continually improved," said Zainul.
