Daniel also took the group into the winery, a wine-making place. He explained that there are differences in the processing of grapes. Red wine is made from the best red wine, as well as white wine made from white grapes best.
"All separated. Permentasinya process is also different. Pemeresan process for red wine with temperatures between 22-26 degrees Celsius for 7-10 days. For white wine, wine squeezed with temperatures 12-16 degrees Celsius for 14-21 days," he said, pointing drums containing wine and stainless steel tanks.
Having both types of wine is squeezed, immediately entered the tank or drum to ferment. There are several advanced processes to be red or white wine.
"To produce good wine fermentation process at least a year, plus a year saved after bottled. Least two years you will savor the taste of a good wine," said Daniel.
So even in the Swan Valley, which produces several types of wine Verdelho, Shiraz, and Cabernet in the country. Swan Valley has some of the best wineries in Western Australia. However, due to the tropical climate in the Swan Valley, many wine producers to leave the area so many years wine production also fell.
