Dubai - Travelers who admire a variety of magnificent buildings in Dubai, UAE, has now got a new scene. There Cayan Tower, 310 meter tall building is twisted 90 degrees from the ground floor.

Cayan Tower has just unveiled at the Dubai Marina. It is a 75 storey residential building built since 2006. The cost to build this skyscraper is USD 272 million or around Rp 2.3 trillion.

What is unique for tourists is the design of this building. The shape is twisted 90 degrees from bottom to top, so Cayan Tower has a unique spiral shape. The developer Cayan Real Estate Investment and Development Company said 80 percent occupancy on offer has been sold.

Reported by the Sydney Morning Heralds, as seen on Monday (17/06/2013), this skyscraper designed Skidmore Owings and Merrill, the architects who designed the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world. Burj Khalifa is 828 meters tall with 160 floors building record highs in 2010.



In May 2012, the Princess Tower Dubai was inaugurated as high as 413.4 meters. This is the tallest residential building in the world according to Guinness World Records. Not long ago, Dubai also has the tallest hotel building in the world at the JW Marriott Marquis Dubai as high as 355 meters.

Well, if traveling to Dubai, tourists certainly more often looked up at the sky. Understandably, they will often enjoy a view of the towering buildings.
