Lake Toba is famous for its extensive and beauty. Lake in North Sumatra is going to be a test event swimmers guts world. They will be challenged to swim around the island of Samosir!
Swimming event at Lake Toba is a circuit of Lake Toba Festival to be held on 8 to 14 September 2013. Tourists from various countries or local tourists, may beruji guts to swim there.
"The swimming competition anyone can participate, the prize of Rp 70 million," said Vice Minister Parekraf, Nirwandar Soft Launching the event at Lake Toba Festival Hall Susilo Soedarman, Sapta Pesona Building, Jl Medan Merdeka Barat, Jakarta, Friday (26/7 / 2013) night.
Sapta added, total distance swimming race around the island of Samosir in Lake Toba Festival reached 114 kilometers and takes 3 days 2 nights. This event was going to entertain the tourists and foreign tourists who come to it.
"Do not admitted swimmer the world if you do not swim in Lake Toba," Sapta challenge.
Besides swimming, there are many events in the Lake Toba Festival. Some events such as carnivals Si Gale-gale, Solu Bolon sort of dragon boat, to paragliding.
"We combine sport and culture at Lake Toba Festival," added Sapta.
